I just want to express my deepest, heartfelt gratitude for meeting such lovely people here, so many kind comments about my work, so many good criticisms and imput... I could go on. But I won't, I might go mushy...

I just want to say, thank you, so very much. I love to paint. But I also think of art as a communication. I have so many things yet to tell, so many images to show, but without people looking, enjoying, even analyzing sometimes, my work, I would feel as if I am telling a story to an empty room. There is something missing.

Before I came to deviantART, I always felt so. But never again. This will always be the primary place I come to share my finished work. For no other reason than you. Every story I tell is so important to me, sometimes more than you realize. I spend hours, days, weeks, months, thinking on one painting...

And then to see, sometimes, the extraordinary work of the same sort of lengthy-hour madness from a fellow deviant....

It is a haven of the best sort

PS. As for daily doodles... I have continued on my own, but I sometimes don't turn on the computer every day, and so I'm going to skip the daily postings for now until I get back into a more "normal" routine of digital pieces. I have been outdoors, painting a lot and spending far less time indoors, and unfortunately my deviantART time sorta goes out the window... As for the message centre... I will, however, be around to check notes, comments, post new pieces as they finish, and so forth on a regular basis. I just might not get to the majority of my inbox very quickly.
