A face study; based on this stock photograph: [link]

57 hours, mostly Painter X with the eyelashes, eye reflection, hair, skin texture, and freckles done in Photoshop CS3.

I still am not quite sure about this one, but any critique would be handy. I know the colors are weird... I have no explanation other than I think I see colors more vividly than they actually exist.. so yeah.

I tried to be exact; but there are SO many errors here I feel a little crazy trying to fix them at this point >.> However, I'm quite happy to make some adjustments if I get a consensus... so lemme hear your ideas

UPDATE! Well, after 29 more hours of working on this... I changed quite a bit. I want to especially thank `memod and =liiga for the indepth crits on my WIPs, mostly I bugged Dan endlessly about the improbable beautiful imperfection in this little lady's face. I also listened to many of you about the freckles and skin texture, and you can see here most of my reworking was removing the old freckle layer and repainting the entire skin surface. So, the older version, which was the first submission of this piece, I've moved to scraps here: [link] and this file is the updated version now.

I'll be redoing the walkthrough in a bit as well to reflect the final piece.
