Lake Ada WIP

Since I haven't submitted anything in a while, I thought I'd show you one of the paintings I've been working on that is the closest to being finished. I know you guys must think I'm only a digital painter, but I actually do a lot of traditional painting as well.

I've always hated taking photos of my oil paintings, because the majority of my oil painting time is spent mixing my palette and blending subtle color varations into each glaze and paint layers... and the digital camera I have simply fails to capture the shifts and varations as I'd like.

Even so, the last photo I took on my lunch break today is probably the closest I'll get...

This will be moved to scraps later when I post the finished painting. If you are interested in WIPs, sketches, and details (along with sometimes some other random things) you may want to watch my scraps, since I usually only post them there.
