Sketches and DoodlesHere are the doodles, sketches, concepts, unfinished works, old work, and general mishmash that didn't make it into my main galleries. This is the section of things you wouldn't see if scraps didn't exist on deviantART. If you'd like to see more of a particular subject matter, I most likely have much more to show, so feel free to ask. Practicepracticepractice! I've posted older works because I'm not ashamed of my process or progression. They are in a general sort of time order, although looking at the descriptions is the best bet to get an idea when I did a particular piece. I'm starting to not like you very much, hehe. I really need to practice practice practice again. I lost the knack with my drawing a long time ago.
Practice is key!
I'm glad you enjoy my doodles! I sure love doing them
Thanks for taking the time to comment on so many, I was giggling with each new comment I see you have a steampunk challenge, sounds really cool - have fun! Oh please, don't envy me. The key to drawing successfully is to do it constantly. That's why I've been showing off my doodles a lot more... not everything I do is a finished, polished piece - but every one is a stepping stone in the learning process.
So just keep painting, and you'll see the efforts you put in, over time, show up visibly in your work. Also I noticed you have castle stock, I might doodle a few of those if the whim strikes |
